Bliss

I know, i know, i know... I am a very bad blogger! But with the kind of schedule I have, whew, you will not have time to scrap as well. 8 straight days shift, well not always but it still made me feel so tired. And when you're tired, it's hard to think of a layout. Last night, i came to visit American Crafts before going to bed and all of a sudden, tada! It gave me an insipration. Sleepy, yes! But it only took me 30 minutes to make this layout.

Thanks for looking :)

Materials used:
Patterned paper: Spring Cheerful Cherry - American Crafts
Spring Dragonfly Dance - American Crafts
Chipboard : Dear lizzy + American Crafts

In your shoes

I love this photo of my niece and my sister. I love it more after making a layout of it. It wouldn't be as nice if it weren't for Pencillines Sketch 183.

March BAP at PRIMA

The photo I used on this layout is one of my favorite on our Simplicity Photoshoot. It was taken in front of Esplanade. I thank my hubby for making my dream come true.... Model! Yes, when I was a little girl, I used to look at myself infront of the mirror and always telling myself that someday, I'm going to become a model. Sadly, I am petite and there's no such petite in the model world. Again, thanks to my hubby by making me his resident model :D

The materials I used in this layout are 99% PRIMA

Pencil lines sketches

I've just discovered Pencil lines thru a scrappy friend's blog. Monthly they are having gorgeous sketches. I did my layouts from their 3 sketches in just 4 hours!!! Yes, all 3 for just 4 hours.... yipppeeee!!! How fast is that? Well, that is super fast for me, because sometimes it would take me 4 hours in a layout and it's not even finish and I have to continue it the next day. Ok, now I have to show you my layouts and hope that you will like it :)

Freedom

I am so happy to share that one of my layout is featured at Scrapstreet Ezine again. FREEDOM is currently my favorite layout. I did my favorite technique on doing this layout which is hand stitching. Hope you guys will like it as much as I do.

Supplies: Paper, Chipboard, Tape, Journal Block, Bling: Prima Marketing, Transparency: Hambly Screen Prints, Alphabet: Heidi Swapp, Thread: DMC, Pen: ZIG.

Design Notes: To complete the layout, I doodled the swirl as a border andhand-stiched it.

Journaling: I thank God for the gift of freedom. Nobody wants to be in a cage. Everybody wants to fly as a bird. And I am happy that I am able to express the real me.

This week at Simply Scrapping is color combo. You must use all the colors in the Simply Sweet Color Combo. You must stay true to the colors however you can add neutral colors such as black, white, and krafts. If you desire to add another color it must not dominate any of the colors in the Simply Sweet Color Combo.
