August BAP

Anam has created a GORGEOUS multi-photo, sketch for us this month at PRIMA BAP!

The background includes lots of paper layering...along with space for three photos, a large title and a fabulous, swirled embellishment area!

For my take, I turned the design, making it the 3 photos on top instead of putting it on the sides.

Another Sketchy Thursday From Diana

I wasn't able to join in the fun for a couple of weeks, because I'd been very busy with lots of things but I'm back on my feet again. So for this week's sketch is this:

and for my take: ( the fastest layout I ever did. 10 minutes for the record! )

Materials used: Patterned Paper ( DCWV ) * Paper Journal ( Making Memories ) * Pen ( Staedtler triplus fineliner ) * Adhesive ( Xpress-IT) * Misc. Title Sticker, Ribbons

Journal on the LO : Since we got our " Friends of the Zoo" membership card we always go there as our family bonding day. I guess this particular visit is my favorite. We were able to see almost everything, even experiencing Kangaroos up-close. We rested a bit somewhere while snacking with oreos. These photos are testaments of that unforgettable moment. As a bonus, Hans didn't throw tantrums not even once.

The blog hopping at Memories Always-Forever where a success! Thanks to the DT's for their hardwork especially for Heidi who've organized it. I was just a bit sad because I weren't able to be on the hop itself but of course I did do the hopping on the later part. It was so much fun doing it. I never thought that it was gonna be that way; easy, fun, challenging and inspiring.

I would like to share the challenges I did during the hop.

Mini-album challenge at Memories Always-Forever

Memories Always-Forever

My challenge is as simple as making a mini-album. Though there will some rules for your to follow:

1) Square shape in 14.5 cm X 14.5cm
2) Consist mostly of colors pink and yellow or just all pink or all yellow.
3) Every page would have a corresponding letters that would spell out the name of the person.

4) The firs page or the cover will have a flower, butterfly, ribbon and the your first letter.

You can use wire-O, o-rings or anything to bind your album

At the end of the challenge, I would let my son draw the name from all the participants. The lucky pick will receive a small prize from me, as a token from participating on the challenge. I will announce the winner on the 3rd of September.

Below is the sample of the mini-album I made. The letters spell the name A-u-d-r-e-y
